Team Gina 5K - Apopka, FL
The Team Gina 5K is a community run, walk, or race held on October 31, 2026 in support of a local foundation that assists families facing breast cancer. The event coincides with Halloween and includes costume prizes for the top three best-dressed participants alongside traditional race awards.
The course at Jason Dwelley Park Lakeside in Apopka is an out and back layout. Registration for the 5K is listed at $30. All finishers receive a commemorative Team Gina 5K medal. Overall awards include place medals for the top three male and female finishers, and age group ribbons for the top three male and female in these categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Team awards recognize the biggest team and the top fundraising team.
Packet pickup takes place Friday, October 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pavilion 4, Jason Dwelley Park Lakeside (across the lake from the Apopka Amphitheater), and the morning of the event from 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. The event notes that pets should be left at home due to course constraints; service animals are welcome. Bicycles, roller skates or blades, and skateboards are prohibited. Strollers are permitted but will start behind all walkers.
