Team Gina 5K in Apopka, FL
The Team Gina 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Jason Dwelley Park - Lakeside in Apopka, Florida 32712. The event is a 5K out-and-back course and the proceeds benefit a local foundation that provides financial support to families battling breast cancer. The foundation has raised over $1 million and has provided support for more than ten years.
Registration for the 5K is listed at $30. All finishers in the 5K receive a commemorative Team Gina 5K medal. Packet pickup, including race bibs and event T-shirts, is available the day before at Pavilion 4 at Jason Dwelley Park - Lakeside and on the morning of the event prior to the race.
Event rules note that pets should be left at home while service animals are welcome. Bicycles, roller skates or blades, and skateboards are prohibited. Strollers are permitted with a designated starting position behind walkers.
Awards include place medals for the top three overall male and female finishers, age group ribbons for the top three male and female finishers in these categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Team awards are planned for Biggest Team and Top Fundraising Team. A virtual race app option is available to track and upload verified times using a phone's GPS.
