Tavistock Triathlon
Tavistock Triathlon is staged at Mount Kelly in Tavistock and is organised by Sportiva Events. The swim takes place in a 50 m Olympic standard pool with lanes three metres wide. The bike course is an anti-clockwise loop on quiet rolling roads. The run route uses a quiet lane and a section of the old railway line. Transition and the Tristar bike and run routes are located in the grounds of Mount Kelly College.
The event offers several race formats across junior and adult categories. Support and event services include numbered racking in a secure transition area, professional first aid, public liability insurance, finishers medals for all and special podium medals, plus free quality silicone swim hats.
Race formats and distances:
- Standard Triathlon: 800 m swim, 36 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint Triathlon: 400 m swim, 18 km bike, 5 km run
- Supersprint: 300 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- TriStar 3: 300 m swim, 6 km bike, 3.6 km run
- TriStar 2: 200 m swim, 6 km bike, 1.9 km run
- TriStar 1: 150 m swim, 3 km bike, 1,200 m run
- TriStar Start: 50 m swim, 1,500 m bike, 600 m run
- Mini Tri: 25 m swim, 1,200 m bike, 600 m run
