Taunton Trail Half Marathon and 10K
The event takes place on 24 May 2026 at Taunton Rugby Club, TA2 8BU. Entry is limited to 350 runners and the minimum age is 17 years. The organiser applies a 4 hour cut off for the routes.
Distances and elevation:
- 21.2 km with 16 m elevation
- 10.5 km with 10 m elevation
The route is fully signed and flagged and follows trails alongside Taunton waterways. Route files are available in multiple formats, including GPX, OS maps, Strava and Garmin. A map of the event headquarters is provided.
Facilities and services at the event include free parking near the event village, event photography, on-course medical cover, and chip timing with live results. Feed stations offer water, cola, electrolyte drinks, High5 gels, biscuits, fruit, flapjacks, cakes, crisps and sweets. Every finisher receives a locally produced wooden medal and awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance.
