Event overview
Santa Dash takes place on 14 December 2025 and is organised by Yeovil Town Road Running Club. It is a timed, sponsored fun run held at Goldenstones Leisure Centre in Yeovil, BA20 1QZ. The course distance is approximately 4 km. Entry fees are: adults £10, children (under 16) £5 and under 5s free. Entries open 30 Sep 2025 and close 12 Dec 2025. Entries are also available on the day.
Course, facilities and fundraising
The route follows the flat path past Ninesprings and Yeo Leisure Park and includes the steep ascent and descent of Wyndham Hill. A medal is given on completion. Refreshments will be available on the day for donations. Participants are asked to bring their own Santa suit or festive outfit and a drinking cup.
The event supports the Breast Cancer Unit Appeal. The appeal raised almost £2.9 million to create a dedicated Breast Care Unit at Yeovil Hospital. The unit opened in October 2024 and brings services such as biopsy, mammogram, ultrasound and consultation together in one place, with a dedicated waiting area and a meeting room for support groups. Additional furniture and equipment will be needed, and funds raised will be made available to the breast care team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
