TapSocial Brewery 10km

The TapSocial Brewery 10km is a running event based in Oxford that takes participants through a varied landscape. The course is well signposted and features a mix of quiet country roads, a nature reserve, and a river towpath. The event is organized by Barnes Fitness and starts and finishes at the Tap Social Tap Room, which is part of a social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities for prison leavers.

Participants compete over a single distance:

The race includes professional chip timing with results available immediately after finishing. The course is supported by marshals and on-site first aid services. All finishers receive a metal beer-themed medal to commemorate the event. Awards are presented to podium finishers as well as age group winners.

Post-race amenities include a complimentary half pint of craft beer for every runner, with options ranging from lager to gluten-free or alcohol-free pale ale. The venue features live music for entertainment after the run, and there is an option to purchase food and drink packages on-site. Participants also receive access to free digital event photos and specific discounts for the brewery's online shop and upcoming beer festivals. This event is open to runners aged 18 and over.
