Tame the Tower Trail Challenge - December 13, 2025
The Second Annual Tame the Tower Trail Challenge is a trail running event held at Clarence Schock Memorial Park in the village of Mt. Gretna, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025. One hundred percent of race proceeds are designated for park needs, including trail maintenance, park safety measures, and improvements to the education center.
Course and distances
The event offers two marked trail distances:
- 10 mile - marked with pink flags, about 1500 feet total elevation gain
- 5 mile - marked with yellow flags, about 850 feet total elevation gain
Both distances begin and end at the Clarence Schock Memorial Park Education Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Routes will be marked with colored ground flags and the organizers plan to post the routes in advance.
Logistics, awards and rules
Parking is available at Governor Dick Park on a first-come, first-served basis; when that lot is full, participants will be redirected to a Mount Gretna lot with a van service. Race registration and bib pickup take place at Governor Dick Park on race day. Registration closes on December 6, 2025. Top overall male and female finishers in each distance earn a cash prize, and top finishers in each age group will be recognized. The race will proceed in all weather and no refunds are offered.
