Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half - Albuquerque
Talk Pirate to Me is a themed running event held in Albuquerque at Tingley Beach that coincides with International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes chip timing for all races. Course details are provided for each distance.

All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given in traditional five-year age groups to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Water stations are placed approximately every 1.5 miles along the courses. Half marathon participants must maintain a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile to finish.
Registration is tiered with deadlines: regular registration ends 09/12, late registration ends 09/19, and race day registration is offered. Participants who register by 09/10 are guaranteed event apparel in their size; thereafter apparel is available while supplies last. Entry fees vary by distance and by registration period.
The virtual option allows participants to run at a location of their choice, submit results online, and be eligible for awards and event swag where applicable. Virtual results are posted after the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
