Tailwagger Trot in Lisle, Illinois
The Tailwagger Trot is a 5K event in Lisle, Illinois on May 3, 2026. Participants may run or walk and may bring a dog or participate solo. The event location is 1825 Short St, Lisle, IL 60532.
Registration opens February 1, 2026 and is available online only; no in-person or mail-in registration will be offered. 5K registrants receive an official chip timed bib. Registrants who sign up by April 14 are guaranteed a race shirt and a dog bandana; registrations after April 14 are not guaranteed a shirt, requested size, or a dog bandana.
When bringing a dog, owners are responsible for their dog’s actions. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and leashes must not exceed 8 feet. Dogs known to be aggressive toward other dogs or people may not participate. Owners must pick up and dispose of their dog’s feces and agree that their dog or dogs will be up to date on vaccinations during the event.
Race packet pick up is scheduled at Lisle Recreation Center, 1925 Ohio Street, on Friday May 1. Race day registration and packet pick up will be at the Lisle Bandshell Shelter, 1825 Short St. Every participant must fill out a waiver at registration. Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65, and 66+.
