The Village of Norridge 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash
The Village of Norridge 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash is a community running event held on December 5, 2026 at the parking lot of the old church, now Village of Norridge property, at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. The address is 7740 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706.
Events and distances:
- 5K 3.1 miles, chip timed
- Kids Dash 0.25 miles, untimed, for ages 10 and under
Registration is available online and in person on race day. The published registration fee is $25. Registrants receive reindeer antler headbands and jingle bells for their shoes. Registrations received before Friday November 13, 2026 are guaranteed a finisher's medal and the choice of a t-shirt or winter hat; after that date these items are available while supplies last. Winter hats and themed thermal mugs are also offered as optional add-ons, with the thermal mug priced at $6.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Norridge Village Hall, 4000 N Olcott Ave, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, or on race day at the race location starting at 8:30 am. Packets will not be mailed. Parking options include the rear parking lot behind the old church and street parking along W Montrose Ave and N Ozanam Ave.
Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in standard age categories from 9 and under through 70 plus. A course map will be provided closer to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
