Tails on Trails 2026
Tails on Trails 2026 takes place at Bechtel Park, Bridge Street West, Waterloo, ON, Canada. The event supports the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth and is presented by Pet Valu. This is the second edition of the community fundraising run.
Participants can choose between timed and untimed options, and may run with or without a dog depending on the entry category.
Distances offered:
- 5 km chip timed race, option to run with a dog
- 2.5 km fun run or walk, untimed
- 200 m Pup Run, untimed
The course uses a 2.5 km loop inside Bechtel Park; the 5 km distance equals two loops. The 5 km event is chip timed.
Fundraising is integrated into participation and includes tiered rewards. Raising CA$60 or more earns an event t-shirt; raising CA$120 or more earns a t-shirt plus a swag bag. The top 25 fundraisers are entered to win a CA$2500 travel voucher from Expedia. Additional prizes may include a collapsible dog crate, enrichment gift baskets, hotel stays, massages and lululemon items. Fundraising rewards and medals are available while quantities last.
