BK5K Waterloo ON - 4th annual
The BK5K in Waterloo takes place on August 30, 2026 at Waterloo Park, 50 Young St W, Waterloo ON. All proceeds go to local youth organizations and programs assessed as having financial need. Grants are evaluated and awarded by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk with age group awards for men and women.
- Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under, free during online registration.
Entry fees are listed in US dollars. 5K adult fees range from 17 USD during early registration to 25 USD on race day. 5K youth fees range from 7 USD to 15 USD. The Kids Fun Run is free during online registration and is 5 USD on race day. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration period closes. Online registration ends August 29 and race day registration is available on site.
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three female and male finishers: 200 USD for first place, 100 USD for second, and 50 USD for third. Prize winners may accept the cash or donate it back to local youth grants. Trophies are presented to the top three overall finishers and medals to the top three in each age group for men and women.
