Tacos N' Beer 5K - Long Beach
The Tacos N' Beer 5K is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at Shoreline Aquatic Park, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA. The event is a 5k (3.1 miles) run and walk with a two hour time limit.
The oceanfront course begins at Shoreline Aquatic Park and proceeds along the aquatic boardwalk toward Shoreline Village and the Shoreline Marina. The route includes an out-and-back loop at about the 1.55 mile mark and is described as predominantly flat with a fast-running surface and morning ocean breezes.
Participant items and on-course services include two free tacos, one free beer for participants 21 and older, a crafted medal, a T-shirt, optional chip timing, water stations, course entertainment, and a post-race festival with live music. Top three male and female awards will be given to participants wearing chip timing bibs.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11 at Sport Basement Long Beach, 2100 N Bellflower. Race day packet pick up is also available at the venue for a $5 fee. Waves for the event include named and grouped waves such as Speedy Gonzalez, All Runners, Slow poke Rodriguez "Tranquilito", joggers, walkers, and strollers. Parking options noted include the Pike Outlets Parking Structure at 95 South Pine Ave.
All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Race bibs may not be altered or transferred and entry fees will not transfer to next year. The organizer reserves the right to reject any entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
