Overall trophies are listed for the top three male and top three female finishers. Age group awards for first through third place are offered and are tied to an Age Group Trail Series. Age group categories are provided from 0–9 up to 80+. A tacky sweater contest includes cash prizes of $50, $25, and $10 for first through third place. Sweaters must be worn for the entire race; group entries and pet participation are noted, and spectator votes contribute to a People’s Choice selection.

Registered participants may transfer their entry to another person and may switch distances. A club discount of 15% is noted for Upstate Running Club members, and referring two runners yields a $5 discount. The event policy states no refunds or deferrals unless the race sells out, in which case a 50% off code for a future Upstate Race Series event may be requested.
