About the race
Swinner Swagger is a 15.5 km (approximately 9.6 miles) trail running event held in Muker, Yorkshire Dales, on July 5, 2025. It offers runners a challenging yet scenic loop that covers the second half of the iconic DR30 route. The course starts near Muker, follows the Hartlakes valley to Kisdon Force, crosses a river footbridge, ascends Swinner Gill, then descends towards Gunnerside and finishes along the River Swale meadows near Rampsholme footbridge.
The terrain includes grassy paths, shooting tracks, and some tarmac, making trail shoes recommended. The race features well-marked routes, aid stations with vegan and gluten-free options, and post-race refreshments at Usha Gap Campsite.
