About the race
The DalesRunner 30 is a challenging 31.7 km (approximately 19.7 miles) trail race held in Muker, Yorkshire Dales, ascending nearly 3,000 feet from Swaledale to the Tan Hill Inn, Great Britain’s highest pub. The course follows iconic routes including the Coast to Coast path and the Pennine Way, passing remote moorlands, the hamlet of Ravenseat, and the spectacular Swinner Gill ascent. The race features grassy trods, footpaths, shooting tracks, and some tarmac, with well-marked trails and aid stations offering vegan and gluten-free options.
