Stately Trails: Aske Hall
DalesRunner stages the final Stately Trails event for 2026 at the Aske Hall estate on 23 July 2026. The event offers running and walking courses on private parkland attributed in part to Capability Brown and through grounds that include a walled garden, lake, folly and converted stable buildings.
Available distances:
- 5km run
- 5km walk
- 10km run
Courses follow gentle trails across pasture fields, farm tracks and woodland. The routes are fully marked. The surface may be muddy in places. Entrants are given exclusive access to the estate and car parking is available.
Age rules and supervision: entry to the 10km requires competitors to be 16 years or older. The 5km events are generally for those aged 13 or older. Competitors aged 11 or 12 may now take part in the 5km race but must run with a supervising adult. The published minimum event age is 11 or older.
Event extras include finishers food with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available if ordered at entry, an optional coaster medal available for £3.50, and additional post-race food for spectators that can be ordered with an entry.
