Age limits: 5km events - 13 years or older; 10km run - 16 years or older. Entry fees vary by distance and membership status, for example UKA members pay £17 for the 5km run and £22 for the 10km run; non-members pay higher fees. An optional coaster-medal is available for £3.50. Finishers food is provided, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options if ordered on entry. Car parking is available. Additional post-race food for spectators can be ordered with entries.
Course and facilities
The course runs through an estate described as a Georgian country house with parkland attributed to Capability Brown, terraced garden and a lake with a Roman-style temple. The route uses gentle trails across pasture fields, farm tracks and woodland. Courses are fully marked. Walkers may enter the 5km event. The surface may be muddy in places.
