Stately Trails: Aske Hall
Stately Trails: Aske Hall is a trail running event held within the private grounds of a Georgian country house located 1.5 miles North of Richmond. The event takes place on an estate featuring parkland attributed to Capability Brown, alongside historical structures such as a Victorian stable block and a Gothic-style folly. Participants have access to trails that are not typically open to the public.
The course utilizes a variety of terrain including pasture fields, farm tracks, and woodland areas. While the routes consist of gentle trails, participants should be prepared for potentially muddy conditions. The following distance options are available:
- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- 10 km run
The minimum age for the 5 km run and walk is 13 years old, while the 10 km run requires participants to be at least 16 years old. All courses are fully marked to assist with navigation.
On-site facilities include car parking for participants. Finishers are provided with food after the event, with dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available if requested during the entry process.
