S.W. Collins 5K Road Race & Kids Fun Run
The event takes place on June 21, 2026, in the S.W. Collins store parking lot at 6 Washburn Street, Caribou, Maine. It is part of the 2026 Crown of Maine Race Series.
Distances included:
- Kids Fun Run: 400 m; ages 4 & under, 5–6, 7–8, 9–10, 11–12.
- 5K Walk: 3.1 miles; overall awards for top three men and women.
- 5K Run: 3.1 miles; overall winners and 1st to 3rd by age group.
Online pre-registration carries a $20 fee plus site fee and closes June 19, 2026. Day-of registration is available for $25 at S.W. Collins. The Kids Fun Run is free and donations are accepted. Limited race shirts are available. Participants aged 12 and under may enter both the Kids Fun Run and the 5K if they register for both; shirt size should be selected only once for a child registered in both races.
Awards are given to overall winners in the 5K Run and to age-group finishers 1st to 3rd in the listed runner categories (10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+). Kids Fun Run awards are 1st to 3rd in each age group. A door prize of sneakers is donated by Sleepers Shopping Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
