Grand Falls Running - Potato Festival
Grand Falls Running - Potato Festival takes place in collaboration with the Grand Falls Potato Festival on June 28, 2026 at 1 Rue Chapel Street, Grand-Sault, NB E3Z 2Z6, Canada. The event is volunteer-led and offers organized, professionally chip-timed race options.
The route passes rolling hills through Grand Falls. Runners start at the Potato Festival grounds Bistro, proceed along a traffic-controlled street section and then the main fast section of the Trans Canada Trail overlooking the Saint John River. Water stations will be limited and self-serve; participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration and nutrition.

The 5 km has a turnaround and a water station at the foot of the old train track bridge. The 10 km continues past that point toward the McCain plant along the Trans Canada Trail before returning with a water station on the route. Official chip timing is provided by Atlantic Chip and results will be updated during the event.
Registration includes a race bib with chip, Grand Falls Running branded items, a customized finishing medal, event photos, post-event snacks, top three awards for male female and non-binary categories per distance, free parking, certified first-aid course support, on-site glam and photo activities, and proceeds go to a local cause.
