Grand Falls Running - Potato Festival
This running event takes place on June 28, 2026, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, in collaboration with the Grand Falls Potato Festival. The start and finish line is located at the festival grounds, the Bistro.
Two distances are offered.
- A 5 km run/walk.
- A 10 km run.
The course, professionally chip-timed by Atlantic Chip, goes through a traffic-controlled street section and onto the historical Trans Canada Trail, overlooking the Saint John River. It is described as having rolling hills and a fast, flat main section. There are self-serve water stations along the route.
Registration includes a race bib with a chip, Grand Falls Running branded swag, a customized finishing medal, free event photos, and a post-race food voucher for the festival's Bistro. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers per distance. Race kit pickup is available the day before or on the morning of the event (with a mandatory fee for same-day pickup).
