Mûsterd Mile
The Mûsterd Mile is a one mile road race held in Caribou, Maine on July 10, 2026. It is the fourth race in the Crown of Maine running series. The course follows Sweden Street in Caribou, beginning near the Red Barn at 399 Sweden St. and finishing by Monica's Scandinavian Imports at 176 Sweden St. The route is a primarily downhill mile along Sweden Street.
Entry to the event is free. In-person registration takes place at the Caribou Ski Building, 308 Sweden St., and closes before the race begins. There is no entry fee for participants.
Prizes are awarded to the top two finishers in each age division, with sponsorship support from Soderberg Construction Company and Monica's Scandinavian Imports. Age divisions for awards are Overall, 10&under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
For safety, the event will use a lead vehicle but the course will not be closed to traffic. Runners and walkers are required to stay on the inside of the white line and on sidewalk areas where available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
