SVDP Church of Our Saviour FOP 5K Run/Walk
The SVDP Church of Our Saviour FOP 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Cocoa Beach, Florida. This event serves as part of a nationwide program for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, intended to raise awareness and funds for the local Conference of Our Saviour. The 2026 edition marks the third year for this local event.
The course is a 5K out-and-back route that begins at the church parking lot. Participants will travel onto Banana River Drive and through a nearby residential neighborhood. The following participation options are available:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Virtual Run/Walk
Participants are chip-timed and awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for winners in the masters and grand masters categories for both men and women. Special emphasis is placed on youth involvement, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in two age brackets: 12 and under, and 13 to 18.
A free kids dash takes place after the completion of the main race. Post-race refreshments are provided to those participating. The event welcomes dogs, provided they remain on a leash at all times. On-site parking is available at the church, and race packets can be collected on designated days leading up to the race or on the morning of the event.
