SVDP Church of Our Saviour FOP 5K Run/Walk : Cocoa Beach
The Friends of the Poor Walk is a fundraising and awareness event for the local Conference of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach, organized by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The event on September 26, 2026 includes an out and back 5K run or walk held from the church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential streets. A virtual 5K option is also offered for participants who are not in town.
Registration opens November 28, 2025 and closes August 26, 2026. The standard registration fee is $28.00 plus fees. A kids registration for ages Pre-K through 17 is $15.00 plus fees. A family rate is available for groups of three to six members at $50.00 plus fees. Prices increase after the listed registration close date.
Packet pick-up takes place at Our Saviour Catholic Church in the Angel Room on September 19 and September 25, and packet pick-up is also available on race day at the race site. All participants are chip timed. Parking is available at Our Saviour Catholic Church. Dogs are welcome on leash. Awards are given to top overall and age-category finishers, including categories for youth, masters, and grand masters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
