Medal Madness 5K & 10K at Merritt Island, FL
The event takes place in Merritt Island at 2455 N Banana River Dr and features road races on an asphalt course. The course is an out and back loop with a base segment of 0.78 miles; the out and back measures 1.56 miles. Runners repeat the loop during their race distance: the 5K covers the loop two times and the 10K covers the loop four times.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. Registration must be completed on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Facilities noted by the organizer include parking close to the start and overflow parking, and on-site bathrooms. The event enforces a course time limit of 2 hours.
