Brooks Surf Coast Trail Marathon - Torquay to Fairhaven
The Brooks Surf Coast Trail Marathon is the 12th edition of a trail running event held along the Surf Coast Walk in Victoria, Australia. The course runs between Torquay and Fairhaven on the Surf Coast and offers several distance options for participants.
- 42 km marathon - solo or teams of two
- 21 km half marathon
- 8 km singletrack taster
The route follows coastal singletrack and shared trails rather than remote or mountainous terrain. It includes runs past Bells Beach, clifftop sections at Point Addis and near Anglesea, and finishes with coastal approaches toward Split Point lighthouse at Aireys Inlet. The course is described as relatively non-technical and accessible from nearby coastal towns.
Event services described for past editions include shuttle buses between key points, on-site registration windows, event presentations, and a post-run gathering at Aireys Pub. Multiple entry categories and staged pricing periods are listed for each distance and for teams, reflecting early bird and late entry price bands.
