Brooks Surf Coast Trail Marathon
The Brooks Surf Coast Trail Marathon takes place on Saturday, 20 June 2026. This is the 12th edition of the event. The runs take place along the Surf Coast Walk on Victoria's Surf Coast.
The course travels from Torquay, a surf town, to the Fairhaven Surf Lifesaving Club near Aireys Inlet. The location is approximately one hour southwest of Melbourne.
The event offers several running distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 8km Urquhart’s Bluff Blast
The marathon can be run solo or as a two-person team, where each runner covers roughly half the distance. The route passes several coastal landmarks, including Bells Beach, the clifftops of Point Addis and Anglesea, and the Split Point lighthouse at Aireys Inlet.
The event concludes with a live band afterparty at the Aireys Pub. A bus ticket is included in the entry fee for the 8km event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
