Event overview
The Anglesea Roo Run takes place in Anglesea, Victoria on 27 December 2025. The event is presented by Anglesea Discovery Camp and includes running and multi-sport categories along coastal and beachside routes around the town. The programme includes races for adults, juniors and an all-abilities category run in conjunction with local surf life saving and community groups.
Race programme and categories
- 8 km Soulful Living Roo Run - the main individual event on the coastal course.
- 4 km Anglesea Discovery Camp Roo Run - a shorter coastal route.
- 1.6 km Anglesea Medical Centre Grommets Gallop - U12 beach gallop along the Surf Coast walk finishing at the AMYC boat ramp.
- 1.2 km Rock 2 Ramp swim - combined with the 8 km run for the Surf n Turf category.
Other categories and features: the A-Z Plumbing 2XRoo combines entries in the 4 km and 8 km events with ranking by combined time. The Go Ride a Wave Surf n Turf combines best times from the 8 km run and the 1.2 km Rock 2 Ramp swim. A Janet Jones Classic provides an all-abilities entry run alongside the Grommets Gallop.
