Superhero 5K/10K Walk-Run-Roll and Summer Festival : Almaden Lake Park, San Jose, July 25, 2026
San Andreas Regional Center will host the annual Superhero 5K/10K Walk-Run-Roll and Summer Festival in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event takes place at Almaden Lake Park in San Jose and marks the tenth year of the Superhero Summer Festival and the fifth year of the Walk-Run-Roll.
The 5K and 10K are organized as a timed race. Participants are encouraged to wear superhero gear. Registration for the 5K and 10K carries a fee of $50 per person. Medals and shirts will be distributed at the end of the race. A Super Kid Dash is included as a free activity.
The Superhero Summer Festival is inclusive and free to the public. Festival offerings include community resources, face painting, photos with superheroes, food trucks, arts and crafts, festival games, a free backpack giveaway, multicultural programming, and entertainment by individuals with differing abilities. Attendees can also meet San Andreas Superhero staff.
Designated park parking may be subject to city parking fees at nearby lots. The event is open to individuals and organizations connected to autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental health, and other differing abilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
