Superhero 5K/10K Walk-Run-Roll & Summer Festival
The event combines timed road races and a free, inclusive community festival in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is hosted by San Andreas Regional Center at Almaden Lake Park in San Jose on July 25, 2026. This year marks the 10th Superhero Summer Festival and the 5th year of the Walk Run Roll.
The 5K and 10K are timed races; participants are encouraged to wear superhero gear. Race registration is listed at $50.00 per person, with a promotional code SARC available for a $10.00 registration discount. A separate Super Kid Dash is offered at no charge.
The Summer Festival is free and open to the public and includes community resources, face painting, photos with superheroes, food trucks, arts and crafts, festival games, a free backpack giveaway, multicultural programming, and entertainment by individuals with differing abilities. Organizations may participate and share information about services. Medals and shirts are distributed at the end of the race.
