Event Overview
The Lookin' for a Cure Palo Alto is a 5K run/walk scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026. It is organized by A Cure in Sight. This is the fourth annual event at Stanford. The purpose is to raise awareness and support for Ocular Melanoma, the most common eye cancer in adults in the United States.
Location and Course
The event takes place at 2452 Watson Ct., Palo Alto, CA, and is associated with the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University School of Medicine. Free parking is available. The race has an aid station on the course.
Available Events
Participants can choose between two events:
- Lookin For A Cure 5K Run/Walk: An in-person event.
- Lookin For A Cure Virtual 5K: A remote participation option.
Participant Information
All ages are welcome to attend. Participants can run, walk, or engage in games. Packet pick-up is held at Road Runner Sports in San Carlos before the event.
Event Features
Registered participants receive a commemorative race bib, and a finisher's medal. Those registered by June 27th are guaranteed an event T-shirt.
