Stars & Strides 10K Run/Walk
Stars & Strides takes place on July 11, 2026 at Discovery Meadow in downtown San Jose. The event offers in-person and virtual race options and includes a post-race celebration.
The in-person course is described as fast and flat. Race merchandise and participant items include a high quality wicking race shirt and a finisher medal. The event also provides one free beer or mimosa for participants aged 21 and over. Virtual participants can complete a 5K or 10K from any location and receive a shirt, finishers medal, and bib.
Proceeds from the event benefit Valley Health Foundation. Funds support Silicon Valley public healthcare facilities and programs, including investments in equipment and staff training, initiatives that improve care for underserved and vulnerable community members, and programs that help families manage their health. The event includes fundraising elements with rewards for top fundraisers.
