Stars & Strides 5K and 10K Run/Walk
Stars & Strides is scheduled for July 11, 2026, at Discovery Meadow in Downtown San Jose. The event combines timed road races, a kids run, a virtual race option, and a festival with sponsors and exhibitors.

- Virtual 5K and 10K, includes shirt, bib, and finishers’ medal
The on-site 5K and 10K course is described as fast and flat. Race organizers post live finish results as participants cross the line. Race packet items and event swag include a high-quality wicking race shirt, a finishers’ medal, and one complimentary beer or mimosa for participants aged 21 and over. Virtual participants receive a shirt, bib, and medal.
All proceeds from the event benefit Valley Health Foundation. Funds support Silicon Valley public healthcare facilities and programs, including efforts to equip and train healthcare staff, improve outcomes for underserved and vulnerable neighbors, and provide resources that help families manage their health.
