SUPER MOM 5K and Fun Run : Belmont Lake State Park

The SUPER MOM 5K and Fun Run takes place on Saturday May 9, 2026 at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon. The event is listed as rain or shine and welcomes jogging strollers. Participants can run, walk or jog on a course described as flat and scenic for the area.

The program includes two events:

Fun Run for children 12 and under

The 5K awards the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three males and females in multiple age groups, from 14 and under through 85 and over. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by April 29. Results will be available online after the race.

Organizers note a parking fee charged by the State Parks Department and advise arriving early to avoid that fee. The event is presented by the Strong Island Running Club and includes charitable initiatives: fundraising for Team Red White and Blue, a partnership with the Nest Egg to support local mothers and families, and a food drive to benefit Island Harvest.
