The Sachem SEPTA Any Pace Race!
The Sachem SEPTA Any Pace Race is a community event held in Ronkonkoma at Sachem High School North. This inclusive event focuses on celebrating every ability through a fun run, walk, and roll format. Participating in the race supports Sachem SEPTA’s various programs and services that empower individuals with disabilities and their families.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- All Abilities 5k Run
- The Any Pace Race Kids Run
- The Any Pace Race Adapted Run
The 5k distance (3.1 miles) is designed for runners, walkers, and wheelchair users of all ages. Those who are unable to attend the physical event in Ronkonkoma can participate through a virtual option, completing the distance at a location of their choice.
The event features a community celebration with music, refreshments, and recognition at the finish line. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for the following day.
