7th Annual Super Bulldog Jog 5K Run/Walk
The Seventh Annual Super Bulldog Jog is a 5 km event held at Garfield High School in Los Angeles. The course begins and ends inside the school campus, with the majority of the route navigating the residential streets of the surrounding community. This event is open to participants of all ages and includes specific registration categories for adults as well as kids and students aged 18 and under.
Registered participants receive several items as part of their entry:
- Custom timing chipped bibs
- Finish time results sent via text or email
- Digital finish photos
- Post-run water and snacks
- Finishers medals and event T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 registered participants
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers across multiple age categories, ranging from 12 and under to 60 and over. There are also team awards for the largest overall group and specific school-related honors for student organizations.
A Health Fair takes place exclusively on the school campus during the event. This fair features free pre- and post-run festivities, including entertainment, health and fitness information, nutrition education, and warm-up sessions. Attendees can also participate in raffles and giveaways.
Registration is open online, though participants should note that strollers are allowed at the event but are not permitted on the 5K course. Pets are not allowed at the venue. Parking is available on nearby side streets, as parking is prohibited on the residential streets used for the race course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
