Super Bowl 5K : Polar Cats Race 3
The Super Bowl 5K is the third race in the Polar Cats Winter Race Series, a sequence of four Bowl-themed 5K events held around Rochester in winter 2026–2027. The series includes the Holiday Bowl 5K on December 6, 2026, the Sugar Bowl 5K on January 17, 2027, the Super Bowl 5K on February 14, 2027, and the Cereal Bowl 5K on February 28, 2027.
This event takes place at Seneca Park at Wegman Lodge, 1387 Mount Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607. Participants are encouraged to wear team gear for Super Bowl Sunday. Warm drinks and snacks will be available at the finish area. A post race party and a Series Awards Ceremony follow the event.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Rochester Running Company and on race morning at the race site. Series registration includes Polar Cats sweatpants with an optional upgrade, a race shirt for the Holiday Bowl 5K, entry to all four races, post race refreshments, and eligibility for age group and overall prizes. Racers may keep a single bib for the series or obtain a new bib at packet pickup; riders should check in at registration on race morning to confirm their bib number.
Registration opens September 22, 2026, closes February 5, 2027, and the registration fee is $25. Top three male and female finishers and top two age group winners are recognized for each race and for the overall series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
