Super Bowl 5K Polar Cats Race #3
The Super Bowl 5K is the third race in the Polar Cats Winter Race Series, held on February 8, 2026, at Seneca Park - Wegman Lodge in Rochester, NY (1387 Mount Hope Avenue). The event is a 5K run that is part of a four-race winter series.
The Polar Cats Winter Race Series was created in the 1990s and returns as a low-frills, low-cost winter running season around Rochester. Each race in the series has a bowl theme. The series schedule includes the Holiday Bowl 5K on December 6, 2025; the Sugar Bowl 5K on January 18, 2026; the Super Bowl 5K on February 8, 2026; and the Cereal Bowl 5K on March 1, 2026.
For Race 3 participants are encouraged to wear team gear to mark Super Bowl Sunday. Warm drinks and snacks will be provided at the finish area. A post-race party and a Series Awards Ceremony are planned after the race.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Rochester Running Company and on race day at the race site. Series registration includes Polar Cats sweatpants with an optional upgrade to Vuori joggers, a Holiday Bowl race T-shirt, entry to all four races, post-race refreshments, and eligibility for age group and overall prizes. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and the top two age group winners for each race and for the overall series.
