Event

The Super 5 Sunday takes place on February 8, 2026 in Las Cruces, NM. It is the 12th annual running of the event and includes three races: 1 Mile FunRun, 5K, and 5 Mile. Registration fee for listed events is $25; participants 14 and under register free. All paid entrants receive a race bib and a t-shirt when available; t-shirt availability is not guaranteed after 1/12. Chip timing is used for the timed events. Proceeds support the LCRC Summer youth program, which offers a series of 1 mile fun runs free to kids 14 and under.

Course and logistics

All events are based at Centennial High School, 1950 Sonoma Ranch Blvd, Las Cruces, NM. Event parking, registration, and the start/finish area are located in the Centennial High School south parking lot. Entrants access the site from University Ave / Dripping Springs Rd and Sonoma Ranch Blvd. The course runs along Sonoma Ranch Blvd between University Drive and Lohman Ave and is a closed road course from the school south entrance. The route is on paved roads with about 68 ft of elevation gain. All races start from the north lane of the southernmost entrance gate to Centennial High School.
