Event overview
The Super 5 Sunday is scheduled for February 8, 2026 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is the 12th annual edition of the event, formerly called Super Sunday. The event offers three distances:

Registration notes in the source state a standard entry fee of $30 and that participants aged 14 and under are free. Paid participants are listed to receive a bib and a t-shirt (t-shirt not guaranteed after January 12). Age group awards are given separately from the overall top three. Proceeds from registration support the LCRC Summer youth program, which runs a series of 1-mile fun runs free to children 14 and under.
Course and logistics
All events use Centennial High School as the event site, with parking, registration, and the start/finish area located in the south parking lot. The start area is described as the north lane of the southernmost entrance gate to the school. The course runs between University Drive and Lohman Ave along Sonoma Ranch Blvd. The route is on paved roads with about 68 feet of elevation gain and features the Organ Mountains as a backdrop. The course is described as a closed road course on Sonoma Ranch Blvd to Lohman Ave from the school south entrance. Chip timing is used for the events.
