About the race
The State 47 Las Cruces Marathon is scheduled for January 9, 2027 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The event is centered at the Field of Dreams on Tashiro Road and takes place at roughly 3,900 feet elevation near pecan orchards, the Organ Mountains, and the Rio Grande.
The marathon course is USATF certified and designated as a Boston qualifier. The event uses chip timing and offers professional finish-line photos. Packet pick-up is held the day before at the host hotel, Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. Age group awards and overall awards are presented for the road events; awards must be collected on race day or picked up the following week at Bluebird Running Company. Some registration categories note different cutoff times; course time limits apply for participants.
