Event overview
The State 47 Las Cruces Marathon takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The start and finish are at the Field of Dreams stadium track. The event is held at about 3,900 feet elevation and the course passes near pecan orchards, the Organ Mountains, and the Rio Grande River. Registration for on-site events includes a race shirt, a drawstring bag, and a commemorative medal for finishers in the marathon and half marathon. The 4.7-mile event includes a t-shirt and a custom celebration medal. The kids dash includes sunglasses and a medal. An Early Bird start wave is available for runners who need extra time to finish; advance registration is required for that wave and participants in that wave are not eligible for awards.
