State 47 Las Cruces Marathon
State 47 Las Cruces Marathon is scheduled for January 9, 2027 at the Field of Dreams, 2300 Tashiro Drive, Las Cruces, New Mexico. The venue sits near 3,900 feet elevation amid pecan orchards with views of the Organ Mountains and the Rio Grande.
The event includes multiple race options and is USATF certified. The marathon course is a Boston qualifier. The event has attracted participants from all 50 states and eight countries and has sold out in recent years. It has also been selected as an RRCA Western Region Marathon Championship race for multiple years.
Race services and participant features include chip timing, custom finisher medals, event shirts and drawstring bags, free professional photos, locally themed awards, and volunteer support. Age group awards cover standard decade categories and must be picked up on race day or the week after at Bluebird Running Company in Las Cruces; awards are not shipped. Time limits apply on course and vary by event. An early start wave is available for runners who require extra time but those runners are not eligible for awards.
