12K's of Christmas Southern New Mexico
This holiday-themed running and walking event in Las Cruces offers multiple distances and welcomes both runners and walkers. The event is held at the La Llorona Multi-Use Path Trailhead with the start and finish at the south end of the La Llorona Trail; the trail can be accessed from Calle de Norte Road.

Registrations include a limited-edition Southern New Mexico 12Ks of Christmas ornament finisher medal, a custom event shirt, a sticker, a holiday bib, and a Santa hat for most registration tiers. The event is stroller friendly and pet friendly; costumes are encouraged for human and canine participants. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in the 12K and 6K, plus prizes for the best-dressed human and best-dressed furry friend.
Packet pickup is available early on the Friday before the event at Bluebird Running Company, 136 S. Water St, Las Cruces, and race day packet pickup and check-in are located at the south end of the La Llorona Trail. Proceeds from the event benefit the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra.
