Sunny Hunny Triathlon

The Sunny Hunny Triathlon is a chip-timed multi-discipline event based at Alive Oasis Sport and Leisure Pool on Hunstanton promenade. The course is fully signed and marshalled, with transition on the pedestrianised area at the end of Seagate Road. Access to set up transition is available on the morning of the event only and only registered competitors may enter transition. Marshalls inspect bikes and helmet fit before entry and a bike mechanic may be available for repairs. Transition remains closed during the race until the last competitor is out on their run.

The event comprises a pool swim, a looped bike course through Hunstanton town centre, and a run along the promenade and clifftop to St Edmunds gardens and back to the green by the bandstand. The bike course uses a mount and dismount line on Seagate Road and includes three laps of a 6 km loop. Drafting is not allowed; participants must comply with British Triathlon competition rules. Organisers donate the majority of race profit and all registration donations to Hunstanton RNLI; last year these contributions totalled £750.

Entries open 30 January 2026 and close 1 May 2026. Capacity is 130 and the event is open to entrants aged 16 and over by 31 December 2026. Entry fees are listed around £44 to £45 and a BTF Race Pass of £2 or £8 may be required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
