Sundowner 5K Series
The Sundowner 5K Series is a summer evening running series held across three parks in Edinburgh: Inverleith Park, Leith Links and Fettes. The series comprises three separate 5 km events staged between June and August 2026 and organised by Blast Running.
Each race is chip timed and accompanied by race photography. Courses are clearly marked and marshals are positioned around the routes. The events follow inner trail paths within the parks and are supported by FNZ. A warm-up is provided by Westwoods Health Club.
Entry options include individual races at £12 each or all three events for £30. Entry is limited to a maximum of 250 runners per event and online entry is available; a small number of on-the-day places may be offered subject to availability. An optional finisher medal is available for an additional £5. Prizes are awarded to the fastest male and female in each age category at each event, with a special prize for the most improved runner across the series.
