Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival 2026
Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival is a two-day event on 29 and 30 August 2026 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Activities are centred around Beveridge Park and Dunnikier Park and the event includes an Event Village with additional family activities. K107FM is listed as an official partner and provides live coverage and information about rolling road closures.
Event distances and formats:
- Half marathon
- Trail Race: approximately 5 km and 10 km (two 5 km laps)
- Fun Run (distance not stated)
The half marathon route passes Beveridge Park, Dunnikier Park and Ravenscraig Park, follows a coastal path with sea views, goes through historic Dysart and finishes along the waterfront. The route is undulating with about 236 m of elevation change and includes hills, flat sections and downhills.
The trail race starts within the grounds of Dunnikier Park and uses local woodland and tracks around the golf course. Surfaces include grass, tarmac, gravel, soft trail and field edges, so appropriate footwear is advised. Volunteers support marshaling and safety across the weekend. The festival lists Maggie’s Fife as its official charity partner and plans a range of merchandise for 2026. Entries for races are handled through Entry Central.
