Event Details
The Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival takes place on 29th and 30th August 2026. The event features a Trail Race, a Half Marathon, and a Fun Run. The festival also includes an Event Village with activities for families. There will be live radio coverage of the half marathon. Official merchandise, including hoodies and t-shirts, is available.
Race Information
The event includes three different races.
- Half Marathon: This route passes through Kirkcaldy's parks and landmarks, including Beveridge Park, Dunnikier Park, Ravenscraig Park, a coastal path, and the historical area of Dysart. It finishes along the Waterfront.
- Trail Race: This is an approximately 10 km course starting and finishing in Dunnikier Park. The route goes through woodland areas and around a golf course on a mix of grass, tarmac, gravel, and soft trail.
- Fun Run: This is a popular run for participants of all ages.
Registration and Results
Entry for the Half Marathon is open via Entry Central. Registration for the Trail Race and Fun Run will open at a later date. Past event results are available online. The official charity partner for the event is Maggie's Fife. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
