The race starts and finishes in the playpark next to the primary school. Race headquarters and registration are at the Corrie Centre. All race numbers are issued in a goodie bag that includes the race medal; numbers will not be posted and must be collected on the morning of the event. Entries close at 11pm on 9 Aug 2026 and there will be no entries on the day. Total places are limited to 200.
The course is mainly off road and can be very off road in places, often muddy, rocky or rooted. Trail shoes are recommended. Every finisher receives a unique medal and cash prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers.
