Event Overview
The Sun Fun Color Run is a running event with color zones. It takes place at Carrie Blake Park in Sequim, Washington, as part of the Sequim Sunshine Festival.
Distances
- 5K: Timed run on an out-and-back course on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Includes 5 colors and 8 color blast stations.
- 1K: Untimed fun run on a loop within Carrie Blake Park. Includes 3 colors and 3 color blast stations.
Event Details
Both events use a mass start format. The entry fee includes a t-shirt, race bib, finisher medal, sunglasses, a buff, and a starting line color blast bag. The 5K event features age group awards for the top three in each category, with ribbons distributed. A water station is located at the 5K turnaround point. The event allows participants to walk, run, or use strollers. Pets are not permitted. Participants can pick up their race bibs on the Friday before the event at Barhop Brewing in Sequim or at the park on race day starting at 9:30 AM. There is no gear check provided.
