Elwha Bridge Run/Walk : event overview
The Elwha Bridge Run/Walk is part of the Run the Peninsula series and is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association. It takes place on February 7, 2026, at the Lower Elwha Bridge in Port Angeles, Washington. The course uses the Olympic Discovery Trail and is an out-and-back route.

Race information and logistics
Race materials include a bib, medal, and a fleece blanket for in-person events; a virtual option includes shipping. There is no parking at the race start. Shuttles run between Extreme Sports Park and the race start for participants and spectators who park there. A limited amount of handicapped parking is available near Crown Z Water Road off Elwha River Road.
The course has mile markers and large turnaround signs for the 5K and 10K. Volunteers will staff water and Gatorade stations at the turnarounds. All participants receive official timed results and complimentary professional race photos available online. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in each age category; winners must be present to receive awards as they will not be mailed and there will be no award ceremony. Sponsors include Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette, Olympic Medical Center, and the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
