Event

The Elwha Bridge Run/Walk is scheduled for February 7, 2026 in Port Angeles, Washington. The event is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association as part of the Run the Peninsula series. Distances offered include:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • Virtual Elwha Bridge Run

The 5K and 10K are staged as an out-and-back on the Olympic Discovery Trail, with mile markers and large turnaround signs on course. Volunteers will staff water and Gatorade stations at the 5K and 10K turnaround points. Finishers receive a bib and medal; event items for in-person distances include a fleece blanket, bib and medal. Virtual entries include a fleece blanket, bib and medal with free shipping.

Logistics

The race start location is the Lower Elwha Bridge (288 Crown Z Water Road, Port Angeles, WA). Bib pick-up is available the day before at a local taproom and on race morning at the starting area on the pedestrian lower part of the bridge. There is no parking at the start; participants may be dropped off on Elwha River Road. Parking is provided at Extreme Sports Park with shuttle service to the start. Limited handicapped parking is available near Crown Z Water Road off Elwha River Road.

All participants will receive official timed results and free professional race photos. Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age category; awards must be collected in person.
