Course and logistics
Both the 5K and 10K are out-and-back courses on the Olympic Discovery Trail, starting at the Lower Elwha Bridge (288 Crown Z Water Road, Port Angeles, WA 98363). The course includes mile markers and large turnaround signs. Volunteers will staff water and Gatorade stations at the 5K and 10K turnaround points. There is no parking at the race start; shuttles run between Extreme Sports Park and the start. A limited amount of handicapped parking is available at the bottom of Crown Z Water Road off Elwha River Road. Bib pickup is available at the starting line on race morning.
Registration, items and awards
Race registration packages for the in-person events include a fleece blanket, bib and medal; the virtual option includes those items with free shipping. A multi-race bundle offers a 10% discount per event when registering for two or more series races. All participants receive official timed results and free professional race photos. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and 1st–3rd place in each age category; awards must be picked up in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
