Jamestown Glow Run
The Jamestown Glow Run is an athletic event held in Blyn, Washington, as part of the Run the Peninsula Race Series. The event takes place on December 5, 2026, and utilizes sections of the Olympic Discovery Trail. This trail network is located on the North Olympic Peninsula, providing a route that follows the regional land and seascape.
Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The race is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association, a non-profit organization. The event is one of five races in a seasonal series where individual participants have the option to enter specific races or bundle all five events. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option is also available.
Finishers receive medals designed by local artist Todd Fischer, which are themed around the local environment of the Olympic Peninsula. The event is supported by community sponsors and focuses on giving back to the local trail systems used during the competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
