Jamestown Glow Run/Walk : December 2026
The Jamestown Glow Run/Walk is scheduled for early December 2026 in Sequim/Blyn, Washington, at the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal Center (1033 Old Blyn Hwy). The event includes in-person and virtual options with the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Virtual Jamestown Run
Race details and logistics
The 5K and 10K are out-and-back courses on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Mile markers are placed along the course and there are large turnaround signs for both distances. The run/walk starts at dusk and the course will be dark, so a headlamp or other lighting device is required. Race packet items listed for participants include a lighted vest or headlamp, bib, glow bracelet, and a finisher medal; virtual participants receive a bib and medal with free shipping noted.
There is no parking at the race start; shuttles run between the start area and the 7 Cedars Casino RV parking lot. A bag check is provided at the start/finish and items are marked with bib numbers. Official timed results will be available online after the race and can also be accessed via a QR code at the finishline and on the bib. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in each age category; awards must be collected in person. Additional fees include a tariff fee of $2.50. Sponsors include Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette, Jamestown Family Health Clinic, and Olympic Medical Center.
