Summit Series Run at Mt. La Crosse
The Summit Series Run at Mt. La Crosse is a mountain trail running event held on August 7, 2026 at Mt. La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The event is hosted by Mt. La Crosse, River City Running Club and The Motus Project. Multiple route options and community amenities are offered on the ski area slopes.
Event formats include:
- Sprint: uphill on Damnation, down Salvation, entry fee $30.
- Long Run: starts at the Chalet, loops the slopes, 2 mile, 1000' vertical, entry fee $30.
- Huge Gains Challenge: both Sprint and Long Run combined, entry fee $50.
- Motus Misogi ruck: loop with added weight, bring or borrow weight, free entry.
- Kids Race: for participants under 18, free entry.
Vendors and on-site offerings include the Mt. La Crosse Pro Shop, logo wear and Summit Series T-shirts, food from the Mt. La Crosse Grill, a mobile bar, and live music. A patio gathering will accompany the event. Dogs are not allowed on site. Race results from prior years are available and the event lists standard lift hours for the venue during the season.
