Miles for Minds
Miles for Minds is an inaugural run and walk event hosted by Kappa Delta Pi in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The event takes place on April 11, 2026, starting at 1510 Badger Street. This community-focused gathering serves as a benefit for the La Crosse Area School District’s Special Education program.
The event supports inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for students. During the 2024-2025 school year, approximately 1,025 students, representing nearly 18% of the district, received support through these special education programs. All proceeds from the race are donated directly to the La Crosse Special Education Department to assist with resources and student opportunities.
Participants can choose between different registration options for the 5k distance:
- 5k Run/Walk with an included event shirt (sizes S-XXL available).
- 5k Run/Walk without a shirt.
The event is designed for all ages and ability levels. Participants are welcome to run, walk, or jog at their own pace. There is also an option for individuals who wish to support the cause and receive a shirt without participating in the physical run or walk.
