Summer Slushee 5K in Brooklyn
Summer Slushee is a 5K event held at Veterans Pier in Brooklyn. Event amenities include live online, email, and text results; free finish line photos; free Kona Ice for registrants; and free video and same-day finish line pictures. Runners who register at least three weeks in advance can receive a personalized bib. The first 125 registrants receive a Slushee Tee and the first 150 finishers receive a finisher medal.
Awards include a customized wooden overall award from Ragged Cuts and top placing awards for Male, Female, and Nonbinary across multiple age groups: 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80–89, and 90 plus.
Bib pickup is handled on-site by event staff; a bib number is required for pickup and self lookup or bib lookup options are provided.
