Summer Slushee 5K - June 14, 2026
The Summer Slushee 5K is a community road race held at Veterans Pier in Brooklyn, New York. The event takes place on June 14, 2026 and proceeds rain or shine along a waterfront course at Shore Road and Bay Ridge Avenue.
Participants receive race amenities that include a slush tee for early registrants, a finisher medal for early finishers, and complimentary finish-line photos. The event offers live online, email, and text results as well as same-day finish-line photos and video. Runners who register at least three weeks before the event are eligible for a personalized bib; last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text.
Post-race refreshments include ice-cold slushees in multiple flavors, and the first 250 registrants are eligible for Kona Ice. Awards are given to the top overall male, female, and non-binary finishers, and to top finishers in standard age groups including 14 and under through 90 plus.
Registration fees are non-refundable and are applied to race expenses. Bib pickup is available through event staff starting one hour before the event.
