Summer Sizzler - Greater Houston
Summer Sizzler takes place at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, Texas. The event features a range of running options on a single race day and offers both in-person and virtual participation.
Timed races use chip timing with live results and awards. Race registration for specified distances includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed and include event bibs, shirts, and finisher medals; the Kids Dash is for children ages 10 and under and also offers a free no-swag participation option on race day. A volunteer and run option combines volunteering with entry; volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and may run afterward.
On-site amenities listed for the event include free photos, Kona Ice, and treats at the finish area. Youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K for participants 12 and under. Team registrations include automatic refunds as teams grow: teams of four receive a $5 refund per member and teams of ten receive an additional $5 refund per member for a total of $10.
