Summer Sizzler - Greater Houston
The Summer Sizzler - Greater Houston takes place in Brazos River Park, Sugar Land, TX. The event offers several race distances: 1 Mile, 5k, 10k, and 15K, as well as a Kids Dash and a Virtual Race option. The course is an out-and-back style.
Registration includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal for the 5k, 10k, and 15K events. The 1 Mile event is untimed and also includes a bib, shirt, and medal. The Kids Dash for children 10 and under includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a special medal. Youth pricing is available for the 5k and 10k.
The event features chip timing with live results and awards, free photos, and treats at the finish line. Free Kona Ice is provided. A "Beach Party Challenge" involves picking up items at water stations to carry to the finish for a special pin. Age group awards are given for the timed races.
