About the race
The Sugar Land Santa 5K & 10K takes place in Sugar Land, Texas on December 5, 2026, at Constellation Field. The event offers timed road races on a paved course that starts and finishes in the front parking lot just outside the stadium main entrance. The 5K route is one loop and the 10K consists of two loops; a Kids 1K also starts and finishes at the same location. Race services include chip timing, multiple packet pickup options, and a packet mailing option for a fee of $17.99.
Free parking is available at the stadium. Runner gear choices include a classic event t-shirt or an upgraded Santa Style t-shirt for a five dollar upgrade. Finish line items expected for participants include famous gingerbread man cookies, finisher medals, candy canes, and additional goods. The event is part of the Run Houston Fall Haul Series and supports Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity.
Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age divisions for the 5K and 10K and to the top three boys and girls in the Kids 1K. Volunteers assist with water stations, participant check-in and course marshaling and receive an event shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
