Event overview
‘A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K’ returns to Houston on Saturday, December 5th, 2026. The event takes place at the Addicks Park and Ride (14230 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079) in the Energy Corridor. The course is described as an out-and-back on Park Row Drive and is USATF certified. Distances offered include:
- 5K run/walk
- 10K run/walk
- Snoopy Kids Dash (untimed, ages 1–12)
- At-Home Virtual Edition for 3.1/6.2 miles
All finish lines are inside the Addicks Park and Ride. Mile markers will be placed at each mile. Water stations are located at the start area and approximately mid-course.
Logistics and participant information
Registration is limited to 2,000 participants. All registrants receive a printed bib with an RFID timing tag, a performance blend t-shirt, and a collectible finisher snow globe medal. Packet pickup is available at Sun & Ski Sports at Memorial City Mall on the days before the event. There is no event-day gear check.
The event includes a charitable toy drive with Memorial Assistance Ministries; the program aims to support local families and requests new toy donations (no stuffed animals, board games, or computer games). Medical support is provided in partnership with the Houston Fire Department and EMS near the staging area. Age-group and overall awards are planned for 5K and 10K categories.
