Summer Series May 2026
Summer Series 5k is scheduled for 29 May 2026 and uses a fully licensed, officially measured course on the paved paths around Queen's Park in Chesterfield. The event is a multi-lap 5 kilometre on road and pavement with an undulating profile.
The event has a maximum of 150 entrants and a minimum age of 11 years. Entries close on 29/05/2026. Transfers of entries are permitted up to two days before the event.
A cash prize of £100 is offered for any male or female who breaks the course record. The current course records are 00:14:59 for male and 00:17:03 for female.
The event is organised by North Derbyshire Running Club and takes place at Queens Park, Boythorpe Road, Chesterfield, S40 2ND. Entry options include single-race and four-race series rates. Fees listed for the event include Affiliated £5.00 and Unattached £6.00 for single entries, and Series Affiliated £17.00 and Series Unattached £20.00 for four-race series entries.
