The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run
The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run is an annual trail running event held in memory of one of the founding members of the Worksop Harriers. The event takes place at Worksop College and follows a scenic route passing through Clumber Park. All profits generated from the event are donated to Cancer Research.
The course covers a distance of approximately 5.5 miles. Participants run primarily on trails, with a short section involving a closed road. The route is fully marshalled for safety, and first aid support is provided on-site. The event operates under a license pending with the Trail Running Association under EA rules.
Registration is open to participants who are 16 years of age or older on the day of the event. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the course. All participants who complete the run receive a commemorative medal.
