The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run

The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run is an annual 5.5-mile trail running event held at Worksop College, starting in Worksop and winding through the scenic Clumber Park. The mostly trail course includes a short closed road section and offers beautiful natural surroundings. The event honors Gerald Story, a founding member of Worksop Harriers, with all profits donated to Cancer Research.

It is fully marshalled, provides first aid support, and awards a medal to every finisher. The run is licensed under the Trail Running Association and follows England Athletics rules, with a minimum age of 16 and no dogs allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
