The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run
The Gerald Story Memorial Fun Run is an annual trail running event held in memory of a founding member of the Worksop Harriers. The event takes place in Worksop, with the course primarily exploring the natural landscapes of Clumber Park. All profits generated from the proceeds are donated to cancer research.
Participants follow a route measuring approximately 5.5 miles. The course is composed mostly of trails but includes a short section on a closed road. The route begins at Worksop College and travels through the local scenery of the park. The event is fully marshalled for safety and includes onsite first aid support.
Registration is open to runners aged 16 or older. The event is held under Trail Running Association licensing and follows EA rules. Please note that dogs are not permitted to accompany runners on the course. Everyone who completes the distance receives a commemorative medal at the finish.
