Peak Raid Great Longstone

Event Format
The Peak Raid Great Longstone is a score fell race. Participants choose their own route to collect as many points as possible within a two-hour time limit. Points are deducted for late finishes. The event uses electronic SI timing and a score format.
Course and Start Location
The event takes place around Longstone Edge. It starts and finishes at The Crispin Inn in Great Longstone. A waterproof competition map with control descriptions and point values is handed out at the start.
Participation Options
Participants can compete solo or in pairs. There are multiple age category divisions for solo runners, pairs, and mixed pairs. The minimum age for participants is 14. For pairs where one runner is under 18, the other must be over 21 and be a parent, guardian, or appointed accompanying adult.
Required Kit
The event requires participants to carry the FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit. This includes waterproof whole-body cover with taped seams and an integrated hood, a hat, gloves, a map of the route (provided), a compass, a whistle, and emergency food.
