NYCRUNS Summer Loving 5K & 10K
NYCRUNS presents two road races held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on the first day of summer. Both a 5K and a 10K use USATF-certified courses that pass notable park landmarks, including the Unisphere, and finish near the Fountain of the Planets. The route also provides views of Citi Field and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

A central Festival Area houses bib and shirt pickup, bag check (single clear bag provided), portable restrooms, and post-race refreshments. Water stations are placed on course, with water and Gatorade available at the finish. Participant shirts are distributed on race day only; sizes are not guaranteed. Race photos are delivered by email after the event with options to purchase additional packages.
Bib distribution is on race morning by QR code; NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed at no cost when registered early. Mass transit is recommended; access is via the Mets-Willets Point station with a short walk on the boardwalk overpass. Parking is limited and a recommended drop-off point is 31 Meridian Rd., Corona.
Results are emailed and posted online. Awards for both distances go to the top three male, female, and non-binary overall (gun time) and to the top three in each listed age group by net/chip time. Race policies include standard no-refunds/no-transfers, restrictions on strollers and dogs, and enforced time limits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
